2004 -- STILL THE FUNNEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE
2004 saw the Weaselhawks winning at least one legitimate on-field victory (it's so easy to lose count), as well as about one and a half forfeit-type events. We just plain intimidated the other team into thinking that we'd clobbered them.

2002 -- WEASELHAWK WRATH RETURNS TO AASL
Although known throughout the AASL as “The Funnest Team In The League,” the league was awed when the 'Hawks tallied up one victory late in the season against Kruskopf Olson. Too bad we couldn't have kept the ringers we brought in for this game the rest of the season. Early season injuries were critical. First baseman/coach Eric King bruised his pinky running into Amy Jarrard the first game of the season; co-coach Craig Phillips ran the bases in sandals during the “Big Dave Honorary Game”, suffered a lower back sprain and spent the rest of the season on the sidelines, trying to find the right combination of Miller High Life and muscle relaxers.

2001 -- PLAYER'S STRIKE STRIKES WEASELHAWKS. STRIKE THREE!
It could have been the salary dispute between coaches-to-be Eric King and Craig Phillips and Weaselhawks front-office bean-counter "Big" Dave Nassif. Could've been the fallout from the previous September's "Dark Tuesday" layoffs at Weaselhawks sponsor Kilter. Or, more than likely, a collective case of apathy, but the summer of 2001 found the Weaselhawks tossing tennis balls in backyards, scrounging for pickup whiffle ball games on the playgrounds, and wearing their cleats to bars on Tuesday nights looking for free pitchers. Travis Olson, who had been moonlighting with the Carmichael Lynch team in 2000, played for that team (but secretly wore his Rough Drafts t-shirt underneath the CL jersey). Star outfielder Chad "Chappy" Dustin packed it up and moved to his native Nebraska and ultimately married a softballer who probably would have kicked any one of our Weaselhawk asses in a home run derby.
2000 -- THE END OF AN ERA
The 2000 season was the final one for a number of long-time Weaselhawks. The post-season “Dark Tuesday” in September saw a number of active Weaselhawks relieved of their day jobs at long-time Weaselhawks sponsor Kilter. Some of the victims would go on to future Weaselhawk glory, but many others were either too bitter from the fiasco to continue or left town to pursue opportunities at big-city ad agencies and softball teams.

1999 -- IOWA DRAFT PICKS ADD TO CORE WEASELHAWKS ROSTER
Talent continued to migrate north from the hinterlands of Iowa as Iowa State Cyclones Matt Anderson and Gail Lust joined the Weaselhawks squad. Cyclone talent has always been valuable to the 'Hawks; however, when the numbers are crunched, the stats are showing very impressive numbers from the University of Iowa Hawkeye alums. Current roster count: Hawkeyes 4, Cyclones 4. Ever notice how the original Weaselhawk logo kind of looks like a Herky/Cy offspring?
note: This was the one-and-only year that Weaselhawks player cards were produced. Designed by second year vet Eric King, the cards are highly collectible, and are purported to be selling on e-bay for well into the $3.50-$3.75 range.

1998 -- WEASELHAWKS SOAR INTO AASL ACTION...
... and left Hawk Droppings on softball fields throughout Minneapolis. Sporting a new look and a new name, the franchise continued to earn its reputation as “The Funnest Team In The League”, and might have even won a game or two. Maybe not. Original Rough Drafts slugger Jamie Parker recruited college roomates Witt Siasoco and Chad Dustin to the team, making their Weaselhawks debut on a blistery evening at Northeast Fields. Victory, loss, whatever, beers and roast beef sandwiches were consumed at Mayslacks, and the tone was set for seasons to come.

1997 -- KILTER ROUGH DRAFTS JOIN THE AASL
Here's where the history meter runs out. Somebody who was actually there (and... let's all tip the old hat to the longest-standing Weaselhawks members still stepping up to the plate -- Travis Olson and Jamie Parker) needs to lay down some verbage here.
